Here are the thoughts I shared on Telegram:
"@qnou0x so I had a call with Dylan, the CEO of Figma to explain what my experience width open source design has been and what I see as needs. They are listening and trying to take small, considered steps. First step are these profiles with basic options to post and duplicate files. And they are considering different ways to integrate Workflows around proposing and merging changes as you would do with code, as well as opening up more collaboration options in free accounts. My previous approach has been to post my Sketch Design files on Github so I can take advantage of all the collaboration features of Github and be better integrated with the dev tools. Downsides were of course that sketch is Mac only and paid. This hasn’t really taken of. So I hope that Figma can fill this gap better. First step is to post files, and see if some of the designers in the Monero community are interested in working with them. Any browser and a free Figma account should be enough to start. It’s definitely going to be an exploration and trial-and-error to see what works best though."
